Our experience

Our multi-disciplinary team has decades of industry experience, and they are proud to provide a service that is second to none. We have a care team of over 600 staff members, who help deliver over 250,000 hours of support per year to people living across Melbourne, just like you, to live as independently as possible. CareChoice is small enough to care, yet big enough to deliver and excel.

Our people

Our people are passionate about making a real difference in the lives of others and are committed to supporting independent lifestyle choices. CareChoice is proud to be known as a provider that is particularly stringent when it comes to the selection of our support staff. We only employ care professionals with exemplary credentials or experience, and our extensive recruitment processes ensure we can match each client with the right carer or support worker.  We do not compromise on your safety and ensure every staff member appointed within the organization has undergone a National Police check and has proven they have no criminal convictions against their name.

All of our staff are covered by relevant insurances including work cover, public liability and professional indemnity.

Responsiveness and reliability

Our services are available to those who need them, when they need them – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

We have an after-hours service available to ensure we are always responsive to your needs. When you call us, the phone is answered by a real person, and when you need to talk to us, we make it our business to be there for you.

Best of all, we have the ability to implement care quickly when required and have no waiting lists.

Quality systems and certification

CareChoice has an extensive quality management system in place, addressing the provision of each of our services. To maintain the suitability of the system, and as a basis for continual improvement, we have our system certified against a number of standards including ISO 9001 and HDAA quality certification against the Standards for Disability Services, Victoria. We are a registered provider of disability care support services under the Department of Human Services(DHS) and for the new scheme, National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).  We have also passed all requirements and are an approved provider of attendant care services for insurance companies including Transport Accident Commission (TAC) and WorkSafe.
