I write to reassure you that the team at CareChoice are 100% committed to providing all our clients with quality support services without disruptions in the coming months and beyond.
In light of the coronavirus (COVID-19) developments, the safety and wellbeing of our clients, staff and their families is our priority. With regular contact with government officials, we are responding proactively and have established precautionary measures to manage its spread in accordance with recommendations from Australian Governments and health agencies. We have also rolled out an active response plan to ensure continuity of services are delivered with a focus on practices that protect you, your family and our staff. All of our support staff have been directed to complete a Novel Coronavirus Infection and Control training program, so they are prepared and informed prior to supporting you.
To-date, CareChoice has not received notification of any confirmed cases of coronavirus amongst our staff or clients.
We are working closely with our staff to ensure they respond appropriately to any signs of the virus in clients or themselves. We encourage our clients to be mindful of hygiene practices as it has been documented that the virus is spread by coughing and sneezing. Please ensure that you obtain suitable stock (food, cleaning products) and medication to support you during this time. As an extra precaution, we recommend the installation of hand sanitiser stations at your front door or entrance for everyone (guests or family members) entering your home residence.

Australian agencies are encouraging proactive reporting of suspected coronavirus cases. We encourage you to speak with your doctor if you decide to travel. If you suspect you or someone you have been in contact with has the virus, please contact us on: firstname.lastname@example.org
Through close communication, we will ensure that any staff who show signs of illness or have travelled overseas are staying home. If staff notice that you are exhibiting flu-like symptoms, then we will encourage you to undertake a medical examination. This will ensure we act preventatively to avoid any potential spread of the virus as well as providing you with the best support at this time.
CareChoice will remain available to support you and can be contacted 24-hours a day. This is particularly important should you need urgent services or contingency support at this time.
Our head office has implemented increased precautions and technology to ensure we will remain open throughout developments. Head office staff have been equipped with home office technology to ensure services will run without disruption should there be a quarantine requirement for our back office staff.
