Disability and Youth Services
Our school holiday activities are designed so children and families can access a wide range of fun and inclusive activities right across Melbourne. Our supported activities are especially suited to children who may have special needs or complex behaviours and find it difficult to participate in group holiday programs.
Their special needs or complex behaviours are not suited to a group program.
You are unable to get your child to a particular program.
All the programs are fully booked.
If your child has NDIS funding then you may be able to use this so they can attend activities and have an experienced support worker provide your child with one-to-one support.
All our listed venues accept Companion Cards so you won’t have to pay the entry fee for the adult support worker with your child’s card. However, you will still need to pay your child’s entry fee. We aim to keep costs to a minimum when selecting venues but understand that families may be looking for free activities. We are happy to support your child on free outings – maybe your child would like to spend time at the park, beach or bike riding?
When booking, please check the entry cost at the specific venue, any activity requirements (e.g. socks) and that the opening times correspond with the day and time you wish to book. If you choose to pay for extra items such as animal food and rides, simply provide the additional money and your instructions to our support worker on the day.
