Victorian Government gradually eases restrictions but keeps an eye on safety

From 11.59pm on Tuesday 12 May, the Victorian Government has announced an easing of Stage 3 COVID-19 isolation restrictions.

Under these changes there are now five reasons to leave your home:

  • shopping for food and supplies that you need
  • care and caregiving
  • exercise and outdoor recreation
  • work and education – if you can’t do it from home
  • visiting friends and family – if you really need to

This flexibility will enable many people to increase their exercise regimes safely and have limited connection to friends and family.

As we wait for a reduction in the spread of the virus, we are reminded that the COVID-19 pandemic is far from over. For vulnerable members of our community, COVID-19 still poses a threat.

If you have a disability and are looking to increase your exercise or have limited interaction with family and friends, then call us to discus your needs. Our response plan and safety guidelines are in place to help you keep as many regular routines as possible while ensuring social distancing and safe hygiene practices. Call 1300 737 942.
