Our commitment to your continued service delivery – service as usual and when you need us

I write to reassure you that the team at CareChoice are 100% committed to providing all our clients with quality support services without disruptions during this ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

As always, the safety and wellbeing of our clients, staff and their families is our priority. In line with Department of Health recommendations and guidelines, we have established measures to manage its spread. We continue to work in line with our active response plan to ensure continuity of services are delivered with a focus on practices that protect you, your family and our staff.

This includes ongoing:

  • Infection Control Training
  • PPE training
  • Provision of PPE
  • Vaccination Hubs for our workforce
  • Responsive communication to our workforce on their obligations to keep you safe
  • Hygiene practices and supplies

    We are working closely with our staff to ensure they respond appropriately to any signs of the virus in clients or themselves.
    Please ensure that you obtain suitable cleaning products and medication to support you during this time.
    As an extra precaution, we recommend the installation of hand sanitiser stations at your front door or entrance for everyone (guests or family members) entering your home residence.
    In line with Department of Health guidelines, all workers will be provided masks and will wear them during the provision of support to you/your loved one.

    Reporting concerns

    If you suspect you or someone you have been in contact with has the virus, please contact us on: [email protected]

    In line with Department of Health regulations, staff who test positive to COVID-19 and /or are close contacts will be put on leave for the recommended 7 day isolation period.
    If staff notice that you are exhibiting flu-like symptoms, then we will encourage you to undertake a medical examination. This will ensure we act preventatively to avoid any potential spread of the virus as well as providing you with the best support at this time.

    24-hour availability

    CareChoice will remain available to support you and can be contacted 24-hours a day on 1300 737 942. This is particularly important should you need urgent services or contingency support at this time.

    Our head office has implemented increased precautions and technology to ensure we will remain open. Head office staff are equipped with home office technology to ensure services run without disruption.
